This presentation will provide an overview of the Coroner’s Office and their responsibilities. It will also cover legal and ethical considerations in Alabama. She will discuss the different aspects of a coroner call and your role as an EMD.
Speaker Bio
Kay Cunningham worked for 10 years as a Paramedic in city and rural areas. Her interest in forensic investigation began during this time. She currently holds certifications in Death Investigation and Crime Scene Investigation. She has been working with the Calhoun County Coroner’s Office since January 2007.
