“The Future of 9-1-1 GIS”

Insuring complete GIS and 9-1-1 database accuracy, developing multi-agency databases, and applying NG911 solutions are all goals that 9-1-1 agencies are currently working towards or will be pursuing in the future.  This presentation will discuss how to guarantee the accuracy of your 9-1-1 and GIS databases, and present a review of the development of a Texas statewide GIS database for 9-1-1 VDB/ERDB (NG911) purposes.  Other items discussed will cover agency participation, on-going data updates and potential pitfalls.  Audience participation is encouraged.
