This session provides PSAP personnel valuable information about what’s on the horizon, whether it be regulatory issues, or maintaining a wireless E911 system. Topics include new cell site activations, cell site radio frequency (RF) changes and how this can affect the PSAP, along with regulatory issues that may impact 911 services, wireless accuracy compliance modifications, and more.
Speaker Bio
Jean Martin manages all aspects of providing wireless E911 services to SouthernLINC Wireless customers including interfacing with local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) personnel ensuring proper E911 call routing of Wireless E911 Phase 1 & 2 services. With over 30 years in the telecommunications industry, her background enables her to thoroughly understand the technical components of data delivery and call completion. She is a member of both NENA and APCO. She enjoys 14 years experience in working with the E911 community.
